Instant noodle maker Thai President Foods PCL has acquired a land in Cambodia to build a noodles factory.

The firm is maker to Thailand noodle brand Mama, has spent more than $6.19 million to build factories abroad in 2018. Thai President has bought a land in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for the second Mama noodle factor.

It is said that Thailand’s noodle market is becoming saturated as its annual consumption per person is reaching to 49 packages, three times more than the average.
